Nasal Aspirator

Nosefrida

Nosefrida is a nasal aspirator, which is more like self suctioning device. Though is much less frightening since you never put anything inside the nose. You as a parent control how much suction you apply. It is specially designed to be used safely and effectively on newborns as well as toddlers.

There are some advantages you can find with NoseFrida.

Allergy free – NoseFrida is allergy safe since it is made of non-allergenic, latex free polypropylene.

Not contagious – NoseFrida has hygiene filter which preents mucus transfer from your baby to you.

BPA free – NoseFrida is BPA free and has no phthalates, which are linked to health risks used in baby bottles, pacifiers and other baby products.

Easy to clean – Detach the NoseFrida from the tubing and wash it with warm water and soap then dry it. After each use, hygiene filters should be changed. The tube has to be pushed hard until it snaps into place.

If your child has really thick stuffing – Put 1 or 2 drops of saline into each nostril. After a few minutes, aspirate. You should try the NoseFrida in a circular motion again the nostril. You will be able to hear some sounds when the mucus begins to come out.

Filters – NoseFrida package includes 4 filters and it is recommended to change the filter with each use. Extra filter bags with 20 filters cost $2.5 including shipping.

Here are some user reviews,

Nosefrida gives the parents a chance to help babies blow their nose and clear their airway so they can sleep and eat. It's userfriendly and safe. I recommend it to all my Moms as part of their cold care regimen. It helps keep kids off antibiotics

As a pediatrician, I encounter children with nasal congestion every day. Nosefrida nasal aspirator is a more effective way to relieve congestion than the bulb syringes on the market. I recommend it for both infants as well as toddlers
Dr. Ezequiel F Romero, MD., F.A.A.P.

Dealing with my first child's stuffy nose was always hard when he was a baby. The bulb aspirator seemed to hurt him and we could never fully clear his nose. Afterwards, his nasal passages would be irritated and bloody. When we had our second child, we purchased the Nosefrida and it has been amazing! Our son doesn't fuss because it isn't a painful process for him, it doesn't irritate his nasal passages, and it clears the mucus from his nose so much better than the bulb aspirator. I recommend the Nosefrida to all of the mothers I know and work with, and will continue to use it with my children.

NoseFrida The Snotsucker is developed by Swedish doctors and doctor's recommended nasal aspirator.  Simple Swedish designed with a tube which is placed against the nostril, not inside. Parents use their own suction ability to draw mucus out of the children's noses. Bacterial transfer is prevented by disposable filters. NoseFrida is very easy to BPA and Phthalate free, clean and dishwasher safe. The design of NoseFrida prevents risk or harm to internal nasal structures and most effective.
